The Revista de Ciências Policiais (RCP) publishes articles, reviews, and interviews on theoretical and practical topics in Police Sciences and related fields, such as Sociology, Law, Anthropology, Administration, Psychology, and Political Science.
It aims to disseminate innovations and practices in public security, foster debate on the criminal justice system, and discuss the activities of law enforcement, emergency, and civil defense institutions. The RCP serves as a platform for scientific dissemination for academics, professionals, and the general public.
Published by the ISCP, the journal has adopted a continuous publication model (ahead of print) since 2024, with a biannual editorial closure. The views expressed in the published content are the sole responsibility of their authors and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the ISCP or the journal's editorial board.
