Oldenburg Burnout Inventory com Policiais Militares de UPPs do Rio de Janeiro: Propriedades Psicométricas

O burnout é um fenômeno relativamente comum no contexto do trabalho. É uma síndrome laboral caracterizada pela exaustão emocional, desengajamento do trabalho e redução da eficácia profissional. O estresse ocupacional é uma preocupação significativa entre os policiais militares, com altos índices de sintomas físicos e psicológicos e síndrome de burnout. O atual estudo examinou as propriedades psicométricas do Oldenburg Burnout Inventory . Participaram desta pesquisa 224 policiais militares, de ambos os sexos, lotados nas Unidades de Polícia Pacificadora no Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Os resultados da Análise Fatorial Confirmatória revelaram muito bom ajuste dos modelos hierárquico, um fator de segunda ordem e dois de primeira, e oblíquo, dois fatores correlacionados, aos dados empíricos. Os fatores Exaustão e Desligamento do Trabalho apresentaram fortes índices de consistência interna. Portanto, foram obtidas evidências de validade e fidedignidade para a medida. Espera-se que o instrumento possa ser útil para a avaliar e subsidiar intervenções na redução do sofrimento e promoção da saúde mental desses trabalhadores da segurança pública.
