Information For Librarians
We invite libraries to list RCP in their electronic journal catalogs. This publishing system is also designed to be hosted and operated by libraries, in support of the work of publishing their academic staff's journals (learn more by accessing the official Open Journal Systems page).
RCP is an open-access scientific journal, under the terms of BOAI (https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai-10-translations/portuguese-brazilian-translation).
“Open access” to the peer-reviewed scientific literature means free availability on the Internet, allowing any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or reference the full text of these articles, collect them for indexing, introduce them as data in software, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal or technical barriers that are not inseparable from accessing an Internet connection itself. The only restrictions on reproduction or distribution and the only role for copyright in this domain is to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly cited under Creative Commons (CC BY - 4.0). RCP uses updated versions of OJS 3.1.2 that allow the registration and inclusion of publications in the PKP PN. RCP's legacy publications are therefore automatically exported and preserved for long-term access. We invite libraries to list RCP in their electronic journal catalogs. We adopt Open Archives Initiative - OAI interoperability standards as well as adhere to and maintain Dublin Core™ Metadata Initiative - DCMI plugins up to date in order to facilitate the efficient dissemination of content produced within the scope of RCP and automatic sending of metadata to portals, repositories and indexers.
RCP also contributes to the I4OC Project (Open Citations Initiative Project) using plugins that enable the unrestricted export of structured, separable, and open, machine-readable bibliographic and citation data. Additionally, the journal creates metadata records, deposits, and shares DOI across the Crossref infrastructure
